Overview Please note this position is based in our Support Office in Phoenix, AZ. The Manager Software Engineering leads a dynamic team of software engineers in the design, development, and delivery of innovative software solutions. This role is critical to ensuring the successful execution of projects while fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence. Overview of Responsibilities Provide leadership, mentorship, and career development for a team of software engineers Oversee the design, development and delivery of high- quality software systems and applications Collaborate with architects and engineers to define and implement scalable and secure system architectures Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and other cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables Develop the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards, including coding standards, tools, services, and platforms elated to the current and future technological environments Identify risks and implement strategies to ensure project success Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency within the team Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field 10 + years of experience in Software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role Expertise in modern programming languages (list languages) Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture Strong understanding of software development methodologies ( Agile, Scrum, etc).
