Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of Java developers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and development  Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements and define technical solutions  Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions using Java and related technologies  Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and development methodologies  Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality and performance  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project delivery and timely resolution of technical issues  Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks, and provide recommendations for process improvements and technical advancements  Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new team members  Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, promoting teamwork and knowledge sharing within the team  Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field  12+ years of experience in Java development, with a solid proficiency in Java EE and Spring Boot  Proven experience in leading and managing a team of developers, including task allocation, performance management, and mentoring  In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and experience in working in Agile development environments  Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software engineering principles  Proven excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts  Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders  Proven to be proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively 

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Spring Certification Experience with cloud technologies and microservices architecture
