Your role

As a Manager/Specialist Master you will bring considerable technical expertise to deliver effective solutions to clients. You will be the lead person to interface between the clients and our Deloitte teams and you will regularly work with the business and with the technical teams. You will serve as an integrator between business needs and technology solutions, helping to create technology solutions to meet clients’ business needs. Managers/Specialist Masters will help define systems strategy, system requirements, design and prototype, test, train, define support procedures and implementation. You will develop and review system requirements, design the solution, redefine the business, present the prototype, and lead the testing of our custom technology solutions.  You will lead on and offshore teams and will manage project teams.

Required qualifications

Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 7 years’ consulting or relevant industry experience (Insurance - P&C, L&A / group, Commercial lines, Specialty)Minimum 6 years’ consulting or relevant Insurance experience within Property & Casualty - Personal Lines, Commercial lines, Specialty Insurance8  years of experience in Property & Casualty Insurance Solutions with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco, Origami or similar package8  years of experience working in one of the following sub service areas: Insurance Products, Underwriting, Claims, Billing & Payments, Policy Administration or DistributionMinimum 6 full life cycle implementations of large-scale system delivery experience preferably for Policy Administration, Billing Systems and/or Claims Systems3 years’ experience estimating and planning Large Scale System Implementations4  years’ experience managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, and testingAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveLimited Sponsorship may be available.Information for applicants with a need for accommodation: https://www2.deloitte.com/us/en/pages/careers/articles/join-deloitte-assistance-for-disabled-applicants.html

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $137,700 to $229,500.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
