Manager Sr, Caldera Product Manager

Are you an experienced Product Manager looking to make an impact at a high-growth global company? As Senior Product Manager, you will oversee the life cycle of spa products sold through North America Specialty Retail, both rotomolded and acrylic, in support of the company’s product strategies and initiatives. For this role, the product lifecycle begins with ideation, continues through product development, launch, and maintenance to end of life. You will identify and analyze market trends and data to support and justify the development of new products or product enhancements. You will monitor sales, product costs, and applicable margins for the products you oversee and make pricing recommendations to support company objectives for profitability. This position reports to the Director, Product Management, and collaborates with other Product Managers, Design, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. Finally, you will ensure all assigned products meet established company objectives for quality, ease of manufacturability, and profitability.

YOUR RIPPLE EFFECT

Are you passionate about monitoring and evaluating existing products? This includes data related to production output and quality, field performance, product reviews, dealer/customer feedback, marketing campaigns, sales, and margin performance. Assess assigned products periodically for strengths and weaknesses in the marketplace and against relevant competitor products. Advocate for PLM decisions such as quality improvements, enhancements, VAVE, repositioning, and end of life. Recommendations should be well supported with VoC, market, and internal data whenever possible.Can you manage product life cycles? Initiate the development of new product ideation and develop business plans for new products, evaluating their potential and overseeing progress through various stages of development. Prepare MRS documents, including business cases for new product assessment and approval. Manage part numbers and related information in the ERP system, ensuring all required reviews and approvals are completed prior to product release.Do you work well cross-functionally? Work with the Director of Product Management to provide input into the development of the overall strategy for assigned products. Key to success will be the ability to succinctly summarize and articulate collected insights from customers, dealers, distributors, employees, conference and competitors. Present insights quarterly during a product pipeline review meeting.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business Administration or related field preferred.A minimum of 5-7 years of Product Management experience, similar in scope to the responsibilities outlined above, is required.Experience should include a strong understanding of consumer products, brand and product positioning, product and project management, dealer and mass channel marketing and distribution.High-ticket durable goods or pool and spa industry experience preferred.Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks successfully.High proficiency in MS Office products, especially MS Excel.Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Navision, Oracle).Knowledge of Smartsheet or Workfront is a plus.Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization as well as a strong ability to work in a team environment, are required to be successful in this position.

The position requires approximately 10% travel for the following activities: overseeing product development in Mexico, visiting channel partners and/or vendors, training onsite at channel partner facilities, attending conferences and trade shows.

Hiring Range: $ 135,900 - $149,490.
