POSITION TITLE: Manager - Store Operations

REPORTS TO: Director - Store Operations & Technology  

STATUS: Full Time Exempt

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Store Operations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing operational efficiencies that streamline processes and reduce workload across various store functions. This role will oversee projects aimed at optimizing stockroom organization, shipment processing, replenishment, floorset funding, and seasonal operational training. The Store Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the creation, development, and seamless execution of best-in-class store processes, training programs, and resources. Store Operations Manager is an individual who demonstrates a passion for operational excellence, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to enhancing the in-store experience for our internal and external customers. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead, plan, and execute operational projects aimed at improving store operational processes, driving efficiencies and reducing workload across key areas such as stockroom organization, replenishment, shipment processing, and floorset tasks. Collaborate with Store, District, and Regional Leaders to define project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources. Serve as the voice of store operations, providing feedback and representing store needs to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Store Operations, Merchandising, IT, HR) to ensure that store teams have the tools, resources, and support needed to operate efficiently. Design and create streamlined, year-round store communication, training materials and operational resources that support the store teams’ success. Ensure that training is aligned with operational goals and delivered in a way that drives adoption and excellence. Regularly conduct store visits with Store Team Leaders and District Team Leaders gathering and analyzing feedback from store teams to assess process effectiveness. Use insights to propose innovative ideas and strategies that improve store operations, focusing on both short-term gains and long-term sustainability. Act as a liaison between stores and other corporate departments to communicate operational updates, best practices, and new initiatives. Ensure that key operational initiatives are well communicated and understood by store teams. Develop and sustain key partnerships with Store Team Leaders, District Team Leaders, Regional Directors, and other relevant business partners. Regularly assess key operational performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of operational improvements. Prepare reports and presentations for leadership on the progress of operational initiatives and provide recommendations for further optimization. Proactively identify operational challenges and inefficiencies and develop solutions to address them. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement by seeking out innovative ideas to further streamline processes. Additional duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or related field preferred. 5+ experience with retail operations, retail management or technology a plus.  Proficient computer skills- Google Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other technology preferred. Strong prioritization, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, planning and project management skills. Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Demonstrated ability to coach, provide feedback, and manage performance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage complex and competing priorities. Ability to work with, influence field leaders, and senior management. Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team. Occasional travel is required

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds  Climbing ladders to re-stock and obtain merchandise  Ability to stand for long periods of time  Ability to continually walk, frequently push/pull, occasionally bend/stoop/crawl/reach above shoulders/ kneel PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
