Manager- Strategic Planning
Job Description An employer is looking for a manager of strategic planning in the Plano, TX area. You will primarily be tasked with driving business growth and support long-term strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for leading the development of data-driven strategies, creating compelling business narratives, and delivering actionable insights to cross-functional teams and leadership. You will translate complex data (mostly financial in nature) into clear, impactful stories, while maintaining a pulse on competitive trends and business performance through robust KPI reporting. - Strategic planning and storytelling: Develop clear/ cohesive business strategies that align with company goals. Translate complex data and strategic insights into compelling narratives and presentations for leadership. - Competitive insights & market analysis: Conduct in-depth competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities and threats. Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes - KPI reporting/ performance management: Develop, track and report on key performance indicators that align with strategic business goals. Lead the creation of dashboards and other tools to provide real-time visibility into business performance. - Other: Partner with finance, marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategic objectives and performance goals. Skills and Requirements 7+ years experience in leading strategic planning, competitive/ financial analysis teams Prior consulting experience at a big four (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte) Experience in competitive market research and trend analysis Proven background in developing and reporting KPIs and performance metrics Proficient in data analysis- Excel, PowerBI/ Tableau Able to analyze data, draw insights, and tell a compelling story Bachelors in finance or accounting QSR or retail industry experience null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
