Manager - Strategic Systems Program Electronic Technical Documentation (SSPETD) Delivery System
**Job Description** BAE Systems is seeking a detailed-orientated Manager to support our work as a prime contractor on a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system. Accuracy, integrity, subject matter expertise, and the ability to work well independently and with others are important traits we expect the successful candidate to possess and demonstrate. This position is responsible for development and promulgation of Strategic Systems Program Electronic Technical Documentation (SSPETD) delivery system documentation. The manager oversees a team and processes for coordinating received Technical Information Data Base (TIDB) inputs from contractor partners and U.S. Navy organizations to provide an integrated tested documentation package to TRIDENT submarines. The team is also responsible for maintaining the configuration of TRIDENT documentation and developing responses to Fleet, contractor, and U.S. Navy program office documentation requests. This position includes briefing Fleet Documentation production schedules and governing directives directives at fleet, government, and contractor liaison meetings. Supervise and manage the preparation, editing, of the SWS/AWS technical documentation suite hosted on the Maintenance Information Network (MIN). Coordinate contractor technical change inputs used to update electronic and paper-based documentation. Supervise and manage the preparation, editing, coordination, and testing of SSPETD media prior to distribution to the submarine Fleet. The position involves people manager responsibilities conducting one-on-one team member performance reviews. Develop and implement disciplined set of processes to ensure quality objectives meet acceptable thresholds. Communication with government customer is frequent maintaining an effective working relationship. Supervise and manage the printing, packaging, and distribution of SSP documentation changes to the SSP community in accordance with scheduled timeline. Local travel once a month for a customer meeting at the Washington Navy Yard is required. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Education and years of related/relevant work experience required: Associate s degree and at least 10 years related/relevant professional work experience or equivalent education and work experience required. Additional skills/experience required: + Knowledge of TRIDENT Submarine SWS/AWS operation and maintenance + Knowledge of Configuration management + Experience tracking key performance indicators + Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe products. + Good verbal and written communications + Ability to present and speak in a public forum + Ability to work and communicate well with management, customers and work effectively with others **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Ability to properly identify and collect relevant data + Ability to analyze performance from collected data + Technical writing and editing ability + Knowledge of Strategic Systems Programs Organization + Perform documentation/configuration management evaluations as a qualified/certified Fleet Technical Proficiency Evaluation (T9001B) team member **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
