Job Title: Manager of Supply Chain Analytics & Enterprise Architect        

Reports to: Sr Director Supply Chain Analytics and COE  

 

(this position is Hybrid working 2 days a week in the Denton Texas Support Center)

Essential Function          

In the capacity of Manager of Supply Chain Analytics & Enterprise Architect, the position will be reviewing current reporting approaches, assessing needs, identifying gaps, and leading with a point of view on how to develop and improve the data infrastructure. They are a key contributor that will further enable the team’s reporting efforts in providing insights and analytics to promote data-driven decision making.

Primary Duties   

30%  Data analysis, design, and development of business applications

30%  Ability to build Tableau and Power BI reporting to support the business needs

20%  Contribute to the creation of models that help analyze and optimize business performance across  supply chain enterprise.

20%  Provide project management support and other ad-hoc reporting

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities   

• Bachelor’s degree or higher level in Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field, (preferred). 

• WMS - Reddworks / Manhattan experience

• Writing Complex SQL Queries (Oracle & SQL Server)

• Data Analyst and Modeling 

• Tableau

• Power BI

• Alteryx

• Cloud Technologies (E.g., Microsoft Azure)

• Business Intelligence 

• Preferred to have Tableau and Power BI Certification

• Preferred to have Microsoft Azure Certification

• Agile Methodologies Certification (E.g., Scrum Master & Scaled Agile)

• Preferred Scripting Skills

• Microsoft office – Advanced Excel knowledge

• Distribution center background preferred.

• High attention to detail

• Travel to distribution centers (10%-25%)

Working Conditions /Physical Requirements      

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work. Frequent travel required.

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
