The Strategic Space System Division is seeking a Global Supply Chain Program Manager 2 to join our team onsite at Redondo Beach, CA.

This position requires an active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret clearance at time of application. Additionally, please be aware that this position will be contingent upon capturing program award and obtaining customer funding.

Responsibilities:

Oversee day to day GSC program execution for an assigned work scope (Programs, Proposals, etc.)Lead weekly material coordination meetings with engineering leadership; coordination between GSC and program engineering as priorities evolveLiaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, Mission Assurance/Quality, and GSC functional organizationsCreation, maintenance, improvement, and oversight of relevant program GSC metrics to track acquisition/execution status & GSC performanceCreate, track, and manage GSC related risks and opportunities; look at risk factors (industry knowledge, Supplier Management ratings, SAMS/Scorecards, Commodity Engineering capacity reports etc.) to identify acquisition risks and effectively bring those to program attention via the program Risk/Opportunity processEffectively tracking multiple issues simultaneously through the GSC processes; presentations and concise reporting/tracking of issues to IPTs & Program OfficeSupport and provide GSC inputs to frequent program proposal activities including ECPs, NTEs, BPEs, REAs and ROMsSupport to IPTs including lien requests, reviews, parts obsolescence, material status, etc.Support and/or lead contract closeout activitiesLead and/or provide inputs to Business team including GSC EVMS Control Account Management and/or support as neededEffectively tracking and managing material through the GSC processes; presentations and concise reporting/tracking of issues to IPTs & Program OfficeSupport Project reviews, risk mitigation, parts obsolescence, Material status, IPT reviews, Configuration Change Board support etc.Problem solver that effectively works with cross functional/org teamsExperienced in dynamic environments where there may have been schedule changes, part failures, design changes, testing failures etc.Support Control Account Managers and/or oversee CAM duties for supply chain labor and material where required.

Basic Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s Degree and 8+ years of Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant experience OR Master’s Degree and 6+ years of Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or relevant experienceActive Top-Secret clearance at time of applicationAble to effectively utilize program management skills to drive program GSC execution across multiple organizations with differing priorities including effective use of soft skills (primarily knowledge-based leadership, tact, persuasion, negotiation, and interpersonal charisma)Self-motivated/proactive, organized, responsive, reliable, flexible, and detail orientedDesire to work cooperatively within a team of other senior GSCPMs and contributeAbility to develop, utilize, and apply data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau)Experienced in dynamic environments where there are schedule changes, part failures/issues, design changes, testing failures etc.Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work with a broad variety of personality types in a team environmentBasic knowledge & familiarity with SAPFamiliarity with Aerospace Materials and Processes (M&P) and associated suppliers

Preferred Qualifications:

Active SSBI and/or SCIFacility and experience working in SAPExperience supporting large & unique aerospace programsDemonstrated flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlinesExperience and/or familiarity with key Northrop Grumman GSC functions including Advanced Planning (AP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Parts Management Integration (PMI)Prior GSC PM experienceExperienced as a CAM and/or Northrop Grumman CAM Training

Salary Range: $142,200.00 - $213,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
