1. Helping the Site Head & Shift engineers in achieving budgeted coal production and keeping its records. 

2. Achievement of budgeted OB removal and its day to day monitoring and keeping its records.

3. To prepare the operation plan showing the excavation area, dumping area and the travelling routes on annual/quarterly/ monthly.

4. To prepare and update statutory plans such as operation plan, monsoon plan, dump plan, electrical supply, dust plan, emergency plan,

5. Providing the hand plan of operation to the shift engineers/ contractors. To maintain all critical data. 

6. To measure/ conduct the initial survey and final survey for assessing the volume of Coal & OB for  the purpose of contractor payment &drill plan. to  reconcile the book reported quantities. 

7. Cost control measures in Survey work/ operation, Automation in process and system, SAP and  Survey software usage & knowledge.

8. Adhering to internal SOPs/ industrial practices for the measurement , assessment and maintenance of records.

Diploma in Mines surveying, Survey certificate of Competency from DGMS.
