We are currently seeking a **Manager** for our Sustainable Investment Advisory (SIA) team with experience leading teams that develop, analyze, and report ESG performance. In this role, you will help shape and lead our offering in ESG Advisory, providing analysis, strategy, and management services to help clients understand ESG best practices and evaluate risk and opportunities. You will be part of an existing and growing team in the Americas region, providing advice related to clients operating across a number of sectors including transportation, energy, water, property, and others – delivered with an increasing focus on sustainability and resilience and ESG principals.
**The Opportunity**
· Manage multidisciplinary teams that develop and oversee the design and implementation of client sustainability programs
· Provide clients with advice and thought leadership to design and implement ESG-related governance structures, envision and implement change management programs, and implement organizational systems
· Lead teams conducting materiality and double materiality assessments for a range of companies, including but not limited to companies subject to CSRD compliance requirements
· Demonstrate firm knowledge of client ESG reporting strategies, disclosures, and other communications aligned with evolving voluntary disclosure frameworks and mandatory regulations (e.g., CSRD, ISSB S-1 and S-2, GRI, SASB, etc.)
· Assess and help build internal skills and capacity to meet growing client needs and regulatory requirements
· Undertake technical due diligence on behalf of investors and lenders with a focus on environmental and social factors and compliance with standards, frameworks, and other requirements
· Supervise staff to help them grow as SIA professionals
· Prepare and deliver presentations of the above to satisfy client needs and goals
· Respond to RFP’s and support in the development of winning proposals for the team
· Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks
· For clarity: this is not a design role—the role is more directed towards consulting/ advisory tasks, as outlined above.
**The skills**
· Bachelor’s degree required; Degree(s) in sustainability, energy, environmental engineering, business, public policy, or related discipline strongly preferred
· 8+ years of professional experience in sustainability, energy, or ESG management
· Demonstrated experience with designing and leading ESG strategy, sustainability reporting activities, and materiality assessments across a wide range of sectors
· Well-developed and empathetic leadership skills; adept at guiding teams with maturity, credibility, confidence, and integrity
· Ability to independently manage multiple projects and associated project teams concurrently with high quality outcomes
· Demonstrated expertise with materiality assessments and ESG strategy development, including governance structure and policy hierarchy design
· Demonstrated knowledge of evolving voluntary and mandatory disclosure requirements and related best practices pertaining to ESG topics
· Familiarity withE&S best practice frameworks (e.g., SBTi, GHG Protocol, Equator Principles, others)
· Strong self-leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to effectively, persuasively, and tactfully interact with clients, regulators, project managers, and employees at all levels of the organization.
· Well-developed critical thinking and problem-solving skills required to apply technical knowledge to reach conclusions from testing results, data collation, computations, statistical analysis and arriving at the most effective, economical, and logical solution.

**Hiring Range -** **The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performed in New York is $130,000 to $160,000** **per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Seattle will differ.**
