Aspirus Corporate Office in Wausau, WI is seeking a MANAGER - SYSTEM SUPPLY CHAIN INFORMATICS & SYSTEMS to join our SUPPLY CHAIN team!The System Manager of Supply Chain Informatics and Systems develops and leads team of Supply Chain Informatics and Systems staff. Coordinates all team and customer activities as they pertain to Supply Chain Informatics. This role includes working with operational stakeholders within Supply Chain in the deployment and development of technology solutions that optimize and automate processes and improve supply chain productivity. This position provides strategic solutions by researching the best technology available for improved operational performance. This position also provides collaborative leadership with the System Director of Supply Chain Informatics and Systems to improve the technologies that are utilized in order to improve the flow of goods throughout the health system supply chain. This position provides leadership and direction of the Master Data team which includes optimization and maintenance of the item file database. This position will be responsible for working with other supply chain functional leaders by optimizing Lawson and other automated supply chain tools to effectively and efficiently get accurate and meaningful data for analysis. This position is also responsible for understanding the business needs of all key stakeholders while incorporating the needs of operators in the field with specific emphasis on tracking cost savings, utilization and other pertinent initiatives. In addition, this position will oversee business analyst interactions with national Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s) and/or manufacturers to resolve contract- related data issues, work with various sources to obtain product information, and investigate potential data enhancements for increased complex analytical capabilities.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.
Experience/Qualifications
Possesses knowledge of hospital management and policy administration, supply chain information system best practices, critical thinking skills, as well as a strong understanding of budgets, financial strategies, materials management information systems and process improvement techniques normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree. Experience may be substituted for education in the absence of a formal degree.Minimum of 5 years of supply chain or information systems experience. Healthcare supply chain informatics experience is highly desirable.Experience with Infor Lawson preferred.
Experience with Access and SQL preferred.
Certification in Supply Chain Management from a professional organization such as the Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) from the American Hospital Association or from a similar organization is highly preferred. In addition a certification in health information and management systems from the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society is also preferred.
Certification in LEAN or Six Sigma from a training provider accredited by either the Council for Six Sigma Certification or the International Association for Six Sigma Certification is preferred.
Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and to oversee and direct work of assigned subordinates.
Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively within a team environment. Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement beneficial
