Aspirus Corporate Office in Wausau, WI is seeking a Manager - System Transfer & Communication Center to join our team!
This position is accountable for general administrative leadership for the Transfer Center and communication center staff while coordinating with leaders across the system. Manages aspects of patient centric care coordination through collaboration with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals providing a memorable patient experience across the healthcare continuum.
Understands and supports the philosophy and policies and procedures of the Aspirus system. Works collaboratively to produce, nurture, and sustain a professional practice and healthy work environment that affords and enhances patient care effectiveness and efficiency through leadership to multidisciplinary teams, effective physician relationships, and a shared vision and dedication to the future of Aspirus.
Specific responsibilities include ensuring the 24-hour delivery of high-quality services, managing resources and people, quality and performance improvement, and role-modeling Aspirus’ values and mission.
HOURS: Full Time or 1.00 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks
Experience/Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in nursing, marketing, public relations, management, business administration or healthcare related fieldA minimum of two to three years’ experience in an acute care hospital, human services or other healthcare facility preferred.Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures, computer systems and applications.
Demonstrates strong leadership capabilities, initiative, and good judgment.
Utilizes strong communication and participative problem-solving skills.
Possesses strong analytical skills.
Assures collaboration and relation with all levels of employees in hospital departments, patients, and physicians to provide an optimal patient care environment.
Capable of making good judgments in stressful situations and can direct others towards positive outcomes.
