Aspirus Corporate Office in Wausau, WI is seeking a MANAGER - SYSTEMS ENGINEERING - IT to join our team!
As the Manager of Systems Engineering work is performed under long-range administrative direction. Direct and plan activities and functions involving multiple operations, programs, or projects. Coordinate projects and services across multiple functional area boundaries. Responsible for research and development efforts directed toward enterprise operating systems, applications, database integration and other related activities. Directs staff in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise computing, storage, backup, and disaster recovery systems. This includes the integration of various related functions across organizational and functional boundaries at the enterprise level.
HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks
Experience/Qualifications
Knowledge of information systems development, systems implementation, project management, and leadership normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in science, technology, math, or engineering, or an appropriate combination of academic training and relevant professional experience. Relevant industry certifications preferred.Three or more years’ experience in enterprise information systems, at least one year of previous experience as a manager, supervisor, or team lead of direct reports.Possesses analytical skills necessary to develop and implement appropriate changes to programs and to oversee and direct work of assigned direct reports.Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills to work effectively with a team environment. Thorough knowledge of operational processes and process improvement beneficial.
