This is a pipeline requisition for future opportunities in Abbott.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Manager-TA will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of hiring for Manufacturing, Commercial, Support, Sales and Corporate based positions. Detailed responsibilities will include identifying qualified candidates for different roles, scheduling and conducting candidate interviews, and presenting and negotiating employment offers.
 Key DeliverablesThe end-to-end management of the recruitment process.Manpower planning & implementation of the hiring plan.Ensure closure of the recruitments within the set SLAs using cost-effective sources.Good stakeholder’s feedback on all TA functions deliverable.Reporting to Regional Head – Talent Acquisition, USNumber of direct reports: three- RecruitersCore Job ResponsibilitiesLead and manage a team of full life cycle Recruiters, supporting all business functions in PR, Central America, and CaribbeanEstablishing credible relationships with senior leaders and hiring managers, acting as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert in talent acquisitionWork as per monthly set out deadlines on the HR Work plan and update regular progress and initiate recommendations for appropriate measure to address underlying problems or issuesDelivering the targeted objectives and effectively implementing the organization’s strategyManage and develop sourcing strategies using direct sourcing, online postings, referrals, and other creative search methodsCollect & screen resumes, select potential candidates using Abbott- specific assessment methodologies.Managing recruiting analysis and ensuring all recruiting and candidate knowledge is tracked, updated and maintained in Abbott TMS systems.Ensure two-way communication between the external agencies.Create and drive recruitment planning & build various talent pipelines to achieve hiring targetsNegotiate salaries with candidates based on available salary scale criteria.Serve as the first point of contact for all candidates at all levelsManage candidate reimbursement process and update the candidates accordinglyEnsure consistency in the process including collection of forms and other documentsEnsure active candidate engagement and completion of all onboarding & joining formalities by the respective recruiters till the time new-hire is onboardedEnsures all hiring paperwork is filled out thoroughly, and all required screening protocols are completed, including medical and reference checks for all new hires as well as, background checks when required.Manage the payroll process for all new joiners and communicating to all TA SPOC as per the processResponsible for the establishment and maintenance of a recruitment databasePrepare relevant reports as required by ManagementPerform other related duties incidental to the work described hereinDeploying cutting-edge sourcing and candidate engagement tactics to attract top talentLeveraging technologies, social media, and other recruiting resources to identify qualified candidatesPersonally, recruiting for leadership roles and other critical positions as neededDeveloping and implementing processes and practices within the division, aligned with global strategic directionEnsuring compliant hiring practices, utilizing best practices within Abbott’s Applicant Tracking SystemLeading regional and participating in global projects to drive future talent acquisition initiativesEducation/Experiences BackgroundBachelor’s degree in management or related field; master’s degree preferrable.6-8 years’ experience of HR/Talent AcquisitionMinimum professional experience: 6+ years of core TA experience with a minimum 3 years of in-house TA experience in a matrix environment. 2+ years of people manager experienceSubject matter expert in direct sourcing strategies to engage, attract, and nurture passive candidates.Team leadership experience over individual contributors, acquired in a matrix and global environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both: English and SpanishFunctional experience: Full-cycle recruitment experience in healthcare or in adjacent industries and across main functions: commercial, manufacturing, scientific, sales, and corporate functionStrong technical aptitude, data analysis and storytelling skillsFunctional competenciesSelf-starter with the ability to recruit for multiple level positions.Knowledge of various competition organization.Good interviewing skillsThe initiative, creative and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, the Internet and computer aptitude.Proficient in Workday, Phenom, or similar platformsHigh follow up and organizational skillsExcellent knowledge of principles and practices of human resources administration related to recruitment and selection as well as compensation and benefits.Knowledge of Data management and record-keeping techniquesAbility to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned work.Project Management knowledgeCapability to learn, local and legal requirements.Strong stakeholder managementGood interpersonal, and teamwork skills

The base pay for this position is $88,700.00 – $177,300.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
