The community you’ll be caring for:

Provides resources and builds relationships focusing on the mission and objectives set forth by the organization. Acts as operational and strategic resource driving the planning and execution of Leadership Development and Talent Management across the organization, including campuses and system functions. Interfaces with all levels of Senior Leadership to align with key initiatives, develop content for Leadership Programs, and implement Leadership Development and Talent Management solutions which seek to enhance the professional growth of all Advent Health employees. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The role you’ll contribute:

· Manages a matrix team focused on developing, executing, and managing a system-wide talent planning/succession management strategy including the development of a Talent Review process, High-potential leader development, career development, and leadership curricula to support this strategy.

· Build organizational capabilities in talent planning/succession management by developing others in support of talent reviews and development activities using a blended learning approach.

· Responsible for managing others by directing the day-to-day work activities, coaching and development, employee performance, and executing disciplinary action as appropriate.

· Partners with Corporate, campuses and system functions to develop and implement succession management strategies including high potential identification and development, facilitation of talent reviews, and creation and tracking of development plans for high potential candidates.

· Implements needs assessments to support continuous improvement of succession management strategies and processes.

· Executes leadership development strategies to create and develop a strong leadership bench including facilitation of leadership development programming and development of experiential development plans.

· Provides executive coaching to senior leaders and high potential candidates.

· Assesses training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, consultants or others to identify needs and to develop appropriate solutions.

· Develops instructional materials for leadership programming; Keeps abreast of curriculum development, training and facilitation, market information & trends to ensure competitive and relevant design and delivery.

· Shares accountability and responsibility with other People Systems leaders for consistent integrated solutions across the organization.

· Develops appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to build accountability and measure results, including managing the divisional process for performance management and talent planning/succession management.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

· Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Business Management, or related field

· Two (2) years of Leadership experience

· Five (5) years of relevant working experience, including Human Resources, Organizational Effectiveness, Culture, and Change Management

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Certified in at least one professional certification such as:

· Organizational Development, Culture, Change Management, Organizational Leadership, Organization Design, Leadership Development, Health education OR

· Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society of Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Society of Human Resources Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Manager of Talent Planning provides resources and builds relationships focusing on the mission and objectives set forth by the organization. Acts as operational resource responsible for the planning and execution of Talent Planning including Succession Management strategies across the organization which includes campuses and system functions. Interfaces with all levels of Senior Leadership, and all appropriate operational departments to ensure alignment with key initiatives in order to implement Talent Management solutions which seek to enhance the professional growth of all AdventHealth employees. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
