We’re currently searching for an experienced Technology Product Manager to join our ranks and continue Wolters Kluwer tradition. The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and proven ability to strategize and implement tech high-level program initiatives. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation.
The candidate will oversee the technical aspects of cross-functional teams, based across multiple countries, by guiding team members to align countries needs with corporation guidelines and supervising system modifications.
He/She will report directly to the Italian Country Lead.
Objective of this role:
Collaborating in the project specifications and technical direction;
Overseeing software quality and system modifications;
Provide financial reports and budget outlines to Executives;
Evaluate projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhere to budgets, and meet process requirements;
Secure the Italian portfolio consistency by maintaining best practices, documenting project status and strategy in one place;
Coordinate the Country activities with the company PMO and Finance teams;
Strategize, implement and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives;
Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached.
A software leader works to ensure the smooth delivery of the Italian products. As a tech lead, you must be able to balance priorities, communicate clear goals, and make decisions, all while taking into account the team’s capabilities and the product’s deliverables.
Since each position on the team has some involvement in the technical operation, you must make sure that each team member has a handle on their portion of the software development process to ensure the delivered product meets the client’s expectations.
Required skills and qualifications:
Five or more years of experience in an upper-management role;
IT bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
English proficiency level required;
Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation and organization;
Outstanding knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes;
Knowledge of agile methodology will be considered a plus.
