Role Definition:
As the ICS India’s Manager, Technology, you will be responsible for the Fabrication Design & Quality of the Solar Turbine’s Construction Services’ Products. You will provide leadership and performance management to the project design & development staffs.  As well, you will be accountable for the Quality, Velocity and cost of the Engineering deliverables. 

Responsibilities
•    Managing the engineering staff and activities with an emphasis on organizational goals achievement, professional development and continuous improvement.
•    Monitoring and continuously improving product and process performance, quality and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables.
•    Providing leadership to create and maintain processes used to design, develop and manufacture components, systems, products, services, and technologies.
•    Managing engineering product and manufacturing process or quality issues
•    Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.
•    Maintaining project/program plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget.

Experience Requirement:
•    Min of 15 years of industry experience in engineering / design execution and associated applications
•    Min 5 years of experience working with and managing engineering systems supporting Solar Turbines products or projects.
•    Min of 5 years of experience working with Industrial gas turbine packaging, associated gas compression and power generation process and BOP systems engineering. Also, design for fabrication and construction, including machine and material routings and quality systems support.
•    Strong knowledge of Built in Quality (BIQ) metrics system, and administration of team reports for Leadership communications. 
•    Experience with shop documentation packages including but not limited to: Piping Models and Isometrics, Piping Hydrotest documentation including logs and job books, Structural material routers and NC1 files, E&I layouts and Isometrics, Loose-ship lists and material management, and structured drawing issuance.
•    Demonstrated track record of engineering team management including directly managing multi-disciplinary teams of 10 or more people 
•    Experience with Solar Turbines strongly preferred.

Degree Requirement:
Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.

Managing People: Knowledge of processes involved in managing people; ability to lead successful teams, and diligently address issues related to performance and conflicts at the workplace. Level Working Knowledge.
