The role is responsible for coordinating and overseeing volunteer services, patient advocacy, and telecommunications support, all aimed at enhancing the overall patient experience.   Key duties include recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers to deliver compassionate, high-quality services to patients, families, and staff.   Additionally, this position includes managing the operations and profitability of the Bryn Mart Gift Shop.   In patient advocacy, the role involves addressing patient concerns, facilitating open communication between patients and healthcare providers, and ensuring that patient rights are upheld.  The position also encompasses telecommunications management, ensuring smooth and efficient communication across departments to support patient care and service delivery.  Develop and Grow Your Career! Position: Volunteer Services, Patient Advocacy, and Telecommunications Manager
Shift: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week - day shift with flexibility for evening and weekend coverage


Experience:
1. Four to five years’ experience in a managerial position preferably in healthcare.
2. Ability to work in a fast pace and / or stressful environment, ability to multi-task.
3. Prior experience in a hospital setting and telecommunications is preferred.
4. Healthcare background and retail management experience, including knowledge of inventory and merchandising.

Skills:
1. Strong customer service focus
2. Proficiency in Outlook, Word and general applications
3. Ability to direct, motivate, train and coordinate department staff activities
4. Good organizational skills for completing time-sensitive tasks
5. Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and professional

 Education: 
1. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
