We are seeking a Work Management Leader who will play a key role in supporting the Power Operations business unit as it strives for operational excellence.

This individual will be responsible for the development, implementation, and management of Power Operations work management strategy and systems. This role leads the effective planning, organizing, executing, and monitoring of work for our operational assets.

What You Will Do:

Develop the vision and strategy for Power Operations work management system

Advance, implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Power Operations work management system to align with the strategy

Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure alignment on priorities and expectations

Monitor the status of the Power Operations work management program and communicate progress, risks, and changes to key partners as well as senior management in a timely manner

Lead, mentor, and support team members to foster a productive and collaborative work environment. Lead all Power Operations Work Management processes and procedures

Develop mitigation strategies to manage risks and ensure project continuity

Track key performance metrics to ensure effectiveness of the work management system

Participate and act as the liaison for Power Operations to the broader Enterprise Work Management team; Oversee the Power Operations Management of Change (MOC) program

Who You Are:

10 years’ experience and a related university degree or 15 years related experience in the field

Proficient with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as ORACLE and EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems such as MAXIMO

Demonstrated experience in building a work management system from the ground up, includes developing a strategy, implementation, sustainment and continuous improvement

In depth understanding of the IPSECA (Identify, Plan, Schedule, Implement, Complete and Analyze) method; Experience leading and / or sponsoring large process or technology improvement projects

Proven experience leading people and teams, developing talent and getting them to perform at a high level through changing expectations

Excellent communication and presentation skills at all levels in an organization

High computer and technology competency i.e., proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and other Enterprise systems.

A highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight prioritizing and delivering on key initiatives.

Unwavering dedication to providing a safe, incident-free work environment

Able to legally work in Canada or the US, hold a valid driver’s license and to travel throughout North America.

Preferred: Direct operational experience in the renewable energy sector. Experience in either continuous improvement, 5S, Lean Management, Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Lean Six-Sigma Certification. Experience with mobility tools such as fieldPro and MAXIMO Mobile.

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
