Manager Workforce Development & Training - Resource Management
Facilitate and participate in development of a clinical development and training model Obtains or participate in developing effective training materials utilizing a variety of media. Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events. Plans organizes, facilitates employee resources for workforce development and training team Develops and maintains organizational communications Modifies programs as needed. Exemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization. Works effectively as a team member with other members of management and the HR staff. Participates in instituting Needs Assessments as needed for various employee groups in a timely, thorough and efficient manner. Collaborates with subject matter experts (internal or external) in delivering appropriate, timely and quality clinical educational opportunities related to orientation and ongoing education Proposes training and development programs and objectives. Approve personnel actions such as new hire requests, coaching, counseling, performance appraisals and discharges to ensure proper staffing Set priorities for planning activities for assigned team Allocates workforce development and training resources in developing and maintaining curriculum guidelines and educational opportunities for Vitas. Participates in oversight of the coordination and functionality of the learning management system. Participation in evaluation of the impact of educational programs Evaluates and implements opportunities for improvement as needed. Monitor the internal/external environment and identify opportunities to fulfill the corporate strategy. Develops, monitors, updates and communicates on-going strategic plan and goals for People Development. Develops and monitors spending against the departmental budget. Serve as strategic liaison for key organizational initiatives between business units and their customers, both internal and external. QUALIFICATIONS 3-5 years’ experience supervising or managing people/resources Learning Management System experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PPT required. Comfortable with use of Media Equipment.
