Your new role...
As the FP&A Manager, you manage one of the domains within the CoE which offers you a great opportunity to participate in the overall finance transformation roadmap setting standards for the FP&A processes related to ad sales revenue management.
Your main responsibility is to ensure proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting and analysis in the ad sales revenue domain. You will manage a team of analysts, and you ensure deep knowledge and competencies are developed within the team to provide business stakeholders with required information to make educated decisions.
Key responsibilities:
1. Driving Commercial Insights and Analysis
2. Providing core FP&A cycle activities local teams
Support month end close activities related to accruals/deferrals of ad sales revenue and related costs and validation of actual results in the systemProvide variance analysis to explain actual and forecasted performance of managed markets/regions vs prior year/plan/prior forecastSupport forecasts/budgets development for managed markets by working with commercial team to review and validate their bottom’s up, providing assessment and recommendations of revenue drivers to local finance directors3. Develop team of FP&A analysts supporting managed ad sales area
Lead and coach group analysts to provide high quality support to their stakeholdersUnderstand team development plans and work with them to address their gaps by experience, networking, training activities4. Ad hoc Operational and Commercial Projects
Drive simplification projects to improve efficiency in working in FP&A ad sales area (ie. forecast modelling automation with machine learning, creation of global ad sales Datawarehouse reporting)Assist the business partners, central and regional teams with ad sales related projectsCollaborate across boundaries, share best practice working with different teamsGain comprehensive understanding of different ad markets in each regionEstablish helpful productive relationships with key contacts in HQ and across the regions to encourage the flow of information and share knowledgeRequirements
5+ years' experience in Finance function in FP&A department preferably in commercial areaExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsCIMA / ACCA / CPA certification would be preferredKnowledge of media industry dynamics and key metrics impacting revenue would be an assetBe able to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure while showing excellent attention to detailStrong presentation and communication skills, with proven record of effectively presenting to both senior internal and external stakeholdersStrong analytical and numerical skills, with proven ability to distil complex findings into a ‘story’ with actionable findings to support commercial decision makingAdvanced Excel skillsExperience in using EPM solution such as SAP BPC, Hyperion, Cognos, OneStreamStrong problem-solving skillsHow We Get Things Done…
