Managing Consultant, Advisors & Consulting Services, Program ManagementAdvisors & Consulting ServicesServices within Mastercard is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution. Our Advisors & Consulting Services team combines traditional management consulting with Mastercard’s rich data assets, proprietary platforms, and technologies to provide clients with powerful strategic insights and recommendations. Our teams work with a diverse global customer base across industries, from banking and payments to retail and restaurants.
The Advisors & Consulting Services group has five specializations: Strategy & Transformation, Performance Analytics, Business Experimentation, Marketing, and Program Management. Our Program Management consultants lead clients through business transformations by implementing strategically important Mastercard assets and services to bring value and drive growth. They serve as the Center of Engagement across all stakeholders within Mastercard and the client’s organization.

Roles and Responsibilities
You will manage a portfolio of projects that support a strategy, a strategic change, or initiative with significant impact on the organization. You will manage complexity and inherent risks across a wide range of business areas, where there are strong interdependencies and shared resources, and you will manage benefits from their initial identification and definition through to the eventual realization and achievement of measurable improvements.
Client Impact
•\tManage deliverable development and workstreams on multiple large, complex high-value projects across a range of industries, problem statements, and cultures including the implementation of core payments products, security solutions, loyalty platforms, marketing execution projects and card program launches and conversions.
•\tPromote proven, accredited project and change management methodologies and techniques to help clients drive measurable value from initiation to benefit realization
•\tMitigate risks, solve issues, and ensure plan remains in line with agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria
•\tIdentify new business opportunities and communicate to executives to pursue, leading seales calls and client development including proposal contribution
•\tOwn key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders and independently assess client agenda, internal culture, and change readiness
Team Collaboration & Culture
•\tLead team to creative insights and sound business recommendations, and deliver impactful and influential client presentations while growing team members’ roles and skills
•\tProvide expertise and day-to-day project delivery team leadership, supporting evolution of solutions with innovation and create a collaborative and inclusive environment for all levels
•\tManage relationship with internal Mastercard leadership and stakeholders and build the firm's intellectual capital
•\tEffectively leverage subject matter experts to develop best customized solutions
•\tProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentorship to junior team members, including evaluating performance, and providing feedback
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
•\tUndergraduate degree with work experience in project management and change management methodologies and techniques
•\t6+ years of Project Management experience
•\tExposure to financial institutions, payments, and/or consultancies
•\tExperience coaching and managing teams across multiple projects and/or engagements with third parties
•\tExperience managing key client relationships
•\tKnowledge of business KPIs, financials, and organizational leadership
•\tAbility to provide perspective on industry and marketplace
•\tLogical, structured thinking
•\tAdvanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
•\tAbility to manage multiple tasks and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
•\tAbility to communicate effectively in English and the local office language (if applicable)
•\tEligibility to work in the country where you are applying, as well as apply for travel visas as required by travel needs
Preferred qualifications
•\tExperience leading development and implementation of solutions and measuring impact on clients' business
•\tHave completed or interested in pursuing recognized professional accreditation, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)
•\tKnowledge of Project Management tools
•\tExposure to payments and/or retail banking or merchants
•\tExperience generating new knowledge or creating innovative solutions for a firm
•\tMBA or master’s degree with relevant specialization (not required)

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
