Managing Director, Derivative Sales- FX Hedging

Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting in implementing and then marketing Websters FX hedging platform / FX product capabilities to commercial bank customers in line with the overall commercial bank strategyStructure, price and execute FX derivatives with customers and bank counterpartiesDevelop business in relation to new clients / opportunities or new products with existing clients in the commercial bank via attending relevant commercial bank pipeline meetings, being in contact with relationship managers, providing content, being part of & attending joint or solo business development customer calls & presentationsProvide ongoing relationship management to existing customers within the commercial bank portfolioBe creative in idea generation, maintain awareness of market trends & structure solutions to meet customers’ needsProvide thought leadership on markets to customers as part of business development and relationship managementBe proactive, meet targets, be commercially minded and help clients achieve their financial goals Maintain and foster a collaborative approach to working with customers in conjunction with commercial bankersBuild and maintain relationships with all Derivative Sales stakeholders to facilitate businessBe well managed, have attention to detail, be motivated and proactive and have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team Enhance the Webster Bank customer experience over and above the lending relationship  

Education, Skills & Experience:

BS required with Finance or Economics preferred10+ years of FX sales experienceStrong interpersonal skills, an understanding of financial instruments and capital markets, with knowledge of Excel and Bloomberg

The estimated salary range for this position is $200,000 USD to $225,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
