ResponsibilitiesAbout the Role:
As Managing Director, you will oversee the strategic direction, operational management, and quality of care at SHNH. This role requires a dynamic leader who can balance mission-driven innovation with operational excellence, ensuring that our students receive the highest level of individualized education and support. You will work closely with families, state agencies, and community partners to maintain compliance, drive program development, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of SHNH’s strategic plan.Oversee and enhance educational, residential, and therapeutic programs to ensure student success.Inspire and manage a multidisciplinary team of professionals.Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.Drive quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practices.Manage budgets, contracts, and financial sustainability efforts.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and accreditation bodies. QualificationsWho You Are:
A visionary leader with 5–10 years of management experience, preferably in special education, healthcare, or nonprofit leadership.Holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. (A clinical or professional license is highly preferred.)Experienced in working with students with autism, developmental disabilities, and complex medical needs.Skilled in operations, personnel management, financial oversight, and regulatory compliance.A strong communicator who can engage and inspire staff, families, and community partners.Familiarity with New Hampshire special education policies and funding mechanisms is a plus.
