What You Will Do:
Tasks listed below are not an exhaustive list of all the tasks that may be required for this position.
Sources potential multifamily assets for targeted acquisition within an assigned geographic area. Conduct detailed market surveys and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of competitive landscape. Underwrite the value of multifamily real estate development projects by developing and applying quantitative analytical models. Oversee financing for approved acquisitions, including working with lenders and third-party investors, as applicable. Participate in and oversee due diligence process on targeted investment projects. Collect and integrate project data, including cash flow requirements, operating income and expense projections and financing assumptions. Oversee preparation of written and graphical summaries and memoranda regarding potential investment projects for internal and external presentation. Provide oversight and guidance to operations teams for occupancy and leasing of asset. Review and monitor assets through monthly and quarterly audits to assess risk. Perform financial analyses of asset portfolio. Review and analyze asset budgets and provide forecasting quarterly. Analyze and approve all capital expenditures. Review and approve all types of cash management for asset to include: reserve draw requests, depository accounts, operations accounts, daily operation accounts of assets, third-party contracts to maintain assets, etc. Any other duties assigned or directed.What You Will Need To Succeed:
General knowledge of the real estate and development industry. Effective organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Accurate and detail oriented. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and relate effectively, productively, andpositively with other Associates. Ability to have flexibility with working schedule based on business and deadline needs. Ability to work a schedule during normal work hours and that may be other than Monday-Friday, 8-5. Work in excess of 40 hours per week is likely. Consistent, regular and in person attendance during regular working hours at the workplace is required.
