Managing Medical Director - Dixon
Overview Expected pay for this position is $135.46 - $169.33/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. POSITION SUMMARY: The Managing Medical director is responsible for monitoring and improving the level of care for patients. Managing Medical Directors are responsible for participant care, clinical outcomes, and the implementation and oversight of quality assessment, performance improvement, and performance management. Medical directors will work closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), quality leadership, and other executive management teams to implement strategies that enhance patient care and improve medical practice. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Doctorate-Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Experience: 3 years’ experience as a postgraduate licensed physician. 3 years' experience in clinical leadership or applicable leadership/management experience. Licensure/ Certification: Physician License Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: N/A Experience: 5-10 years’ experience as a postgraduate licensed physician. 5 years’ experience in clinical leadership, including Hospital and/or ambulatory administration experience. Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate at all levels of an organization, as well as identify, communicate, and problem-solve through complex situations.
