Volt is immediately hiring for Manual Lathe Machinist in Beverly, MA.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As a Manual Lathe Machinist you will:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSet up and operate manual lathes machines – not CNC’s.\r\n\tHave experience with Engine lathe and Bridgeport mill, Radial Arm Drill and horizontal/vertical bandsaw, fraction to decimal – decimal to fraction rotary table, drill and tap hole.\r\n\tThe ability to read and understand work instructions and sketches to include geometric symbols & tolerances.\r\n\tThe ability to use basic measuring tools: Vernier, micrometer, height gage.\r\n\tThe ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

This is a Direct Hire opportunity. Hours are Monday through Thursday 5:30am – 4pm with the possibility of overtime.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years manual machine set up and operating experience.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

Salary: $29-$35 per hour

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
