**Job Title: Manual Machine Operator (Lathe or Mill)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Manual Machine Operator (Lathe and Mills) to join our team in Canton, OH. This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20-$23 and operates on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various materials and performing machine operations and maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Operate manual machines, including lathes and mills. + Machine components using materials such as copper, brass, stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum. + Read and interpret blueprints for machining operations. + Utilize calipers and micrometers to ensure proper tolerancing. + Set up machines for new jobs and perform basic maintenance upkeep. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years' experience operating manual machines, either mills or lathes. + Proficiency in blueprint reading. + Experience using micrometers and calipers for tolerancing. + Ability to perform machine set-ups and tool changes. + Capability to conduct basic maintenance and upkeep on machines. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + CNC machining experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage. The facility is large and busy, with parts and projects everywhere, creating a fast-paced atmosphere. The North Canton location primarily handles fabrication and rebuilds of old equipment.
