Manual Machinist job duties: + Machine and fabricate parts by setting up and operating manual machines including: ID/OD Grinders, Manual Turret Lathe & Engine Lathe, Horizontal Boring Mill, Vertical Boring Mill, Radial Drill, Surface Grinders, Drill Press, and Planer Mill + Performing layouts, setting up and operating conventional machine tools as required to machine new parts of repair existing parts + Reading and interpreting all blueprint drawings, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing + Designing setup methods where none exist + Instructing other shop personnel on proper machining techniques + Continually improving methods to deliver higher quality with improved costs + Completion of a machinist apprentice program or equivalent training + Ability to hold close tolerances and conduct component inspections + Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges + Willingness to work in a team environment + Openness to working overtime as required + 1st shift(M-F) 5:30am-3:30pm + Direct Hire + Pay range: $30-36 per hour **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
