Manual Machinist

Our Client in Coatesville, PA is looking for a **Manual Machinist** to join their team! The Machinist will use knowledge, skills, experience, and good judgement to produce a reliable, quality, airworthy product at a reasonable cost and optimum turn time while providing the highest quality of workmanship for all work accomplished. Previous aviation experience is valued, but not required.
**Job Duties:**
-Operate machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments.
-Modify parts and materials to improve overall production.
-Test completed equipment to detect and remove defects.
-Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
-Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments.
**Must Haves:**
-Must possess a full understanding and hands-on experience with manual lathes, manual milling machines and related machine shop equipment
-Job shop machinist with a minimum of (5) years-experience
-Strong mathematical skills
-Must demonstrate mechanical aptitude
-Proficient in the use of micrometers, Vernier calipers and indicators
-This is a primarily standing position at least 80% of the day. Must be able to push/pull at least 50lbs.
