Join our team for the 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) with plenty of chances for overtime each week. We're looking for someone who excels at operating and setting up manual lathe machines and can read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with ease. **Responsibilities:** + Operate and set up manual lathe machines. + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Utilize various cutting tools and understand their applications. + Use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. + Follow safety procedures and practices diligently. + Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. + Troubleshoot issues with machines and parts effectively. + Work both independently and as part of a team. + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. + Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed. **Essential Skills & Qualifications:** + Proficiency in operating and setting up manual lathe machines. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications. + Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices. + At least 5 years of experience setting up and operating an Engine Lathe. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine and part issues. + Ability to work independently and in a team. + Effective communication skills.
