**Manual Machinist** Are you a skilled Manual Machinist looking for a new opportunity? We're looking for someone who excels at operating and setting up manual lathe machines and can read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings with ease. **Responsibilities:** + Operate and set up manual lathe machines. + Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Utilize various cutting tools and understand their applications. + Use precision measuring tools like micrometers and calipers. + Follow safety procedures and practices diligently. + Maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. + Troubleshoot issues with machines and parts effectively. + Work both independently and as part of a team. + Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. + Adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed. **Essential Skills & Qualifications:** + Proficiency in operating and setting up manual lathe machines. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. + Knowledge of cutting tools and their applications. + Familiarity with precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. + Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices. + At least 5 years of experience setting up and operating an Engine Lathe. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting machine and part issues. + Ability to work independently and in a team. + Effective communication skills.
