Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Machinist who can operate conventional mills and lathes to repair or reverse engineer broken or damaged parts using blueprints or sketch drawings. The ideal candidate will be comfortable operating lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, surface grinders, key seaters, bandsaws, cutoff saws, drill presses, and precision measuring tools. Welding experience is highly desirable.
ResponsibilitiesOperate conventional mills and lathes to repair or reverse engineer parts.Use blueprints or sketch drawings to machine parts.Operate various machinery including lathes, vertical and horizontal mills, surface grinders, key seaters, bandsaws, cutoff saws, and drill presses.Utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Perform maintenance and repair machining tasks.Read and interpret blueprints.Essential SkillsProficiency in operating manual mills and lathes.Experience in maintenance and repair machining.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Skilled in using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.Knowledge of mechanical maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsWelding experience (MIG and TIG) is a plus.Ability to draw or sketch blueprints.Experience with CNC machining.Hands-on repair experience.Why Work Here?
