Manual Machinist
**Job Title: Manual Machinist** **Job Description** Experienced Manual Machinist needed for 1st shift in a contract machine shop. The role involves setting up and operating manual lathes, mills, and bandsaws etc. to machine parts based on blueprints. The machinist will work on projects that include remanufacturing broken parts or repairing parts from production machinery such as shafts, sleeves, and rollers etc. **Shift and Pay** 1st shift: 7am-3pm OR 8am-4pm (must pick one); Mon - Fri -after hours call-in work may be required (not often, once every couple of months) -will be paid 2x for call in work Pay ranges from $30-$32/hr depending on skillset and experience. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and bandsaws. + Machine parts based on blueprints. + Operate and learn to operate forklifts and overhead cranes. + Work on projects involving the remanufacture of broken parts or repairing parts from production machinery. **Essential Skills** + 5-6 years of machining experience. + Experience with manual machining. + Proficiency in operating mills and lathes. + Precision measurement skills. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
