**Hiring for Manual Machinist in Everett, WA!** **Job Description** Searching for a Manual Machinist for either our 1st or 2nd shift team! You will be working on our Production team, supporting our rods and struts manufacturing. **Pay & Schedule** $21-24/hr - Day & Swing shift. **Responsibilities** + Set up and run one of our core machines including but not limited to: Mill, Lathe, Hone, Swage, Centerless Grinding, Thread Roll, Hydraulic Press, and Carbon Fiber. + Use drawings and written instructions to perform routine operation of basic machines to close tolerances. + Install hardware manually using provided tools, sometimes using adhesive or grease as specified by the BOM. + Hand deburr parts to drawing specifications. + Check work using prescribed gauges. + Perform self-inspection of completed work and record data as required. + Examine parts for acceptability of finish. + Clean up parts, machines, and premises. + Perform detailed periodic machine maintenance. **Essential Skills** + Blueprint reading, Machine operation, Press operation, Manufacturing, Manual machining, Sheet metal handling. + Metal fabrication, Use of cutting tools, Deburring, Use of measuring tools, Hand tool operation. + Production processes, Drill press operation, Grinding, Manual lathe operation, Manual mill operation. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or Equivalent + At least one year of experience with one of the machines identified + Experience in a machine shop environment preferred **Work Environment** Aerospace manufacturing and production machine shop. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
