Temp-to-Hire position$15.00 to $25.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Able to operate Lathes, cylindrical grinders, and HBM from part set up to job completion. Capable of reading and understanding: outside and inside micrometers, vernier calipers, vernier height and depth gauges.Studies blueprints, drawings, schematics, engineering information, or sample parts to determine product dimensions and tolerances as well as best method and sequence of operations needed to fabricate parts.Calculates dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipers.Align/secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials onto machines. Observes and listens to operating machines or equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions and to determine need for adjustments or repairs. Measures, examines and tests completed parts in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.Manual Machinist Lathe Qualifications:
Have a good knowledge of G code and program editing.Ability to calculate speeds and feeds for cutting tools used on common aluminum and steel.Knowledge of Fanuc and Haas controls.At least three years CNC machinist experience with multi-axis Mill and CNC Lathe machinesApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
