What You'll Do + Operate machines (mills, lathes, grinders) to create precision parts + Set up tools and fixtures for machining operations + Inspect parts to ensure quality (+/- 0.005 tolerance) + Diassemble, clean, inspect, test, tag and prepare for storage, electrical and mechanical equipment + Utilize and maintain accurate records in TRACE + Assist other areas of the company as needed including janitorial work and basic maintenance + Receive and organize incoming shipments + Maintain a clean, safe work environment Requirements Must-Have Skills + Experience with knee mills, engine lathes, horizontal milling, jib bores or grinders + Blueprint reading and GD&T basics + Math skills for measurements and calculations + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs + High school diploma or equivalent Nice-to-Have + Technical degree or Journeyman certification + Experience with ProtoTRAK, Kuracki, or DeVileg machines + Forklift certification + Valid driver's license Work Environment + Indoor shop setting with some outdoor work + Exposure to normal machine shop conditions + Full-time position with varied responsibilities + Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere Safety first!We provide training for cranes, forklifts, and OSHA requirements.
