**Job Title: Manual Machinist** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to set up and operate a manual lathe. The ideal candidate will regularly inspect tools and equipment to produce precision parts and communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to the shop foreman. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring your measuring equipment is accurate by using the standard in the inspection room. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate a manual lathe. + Regularly inspect tools and equipment to produce precision parts. + Communicate any delays, issues, or concerns to the shop foreman. + Ensure measuring equipment accuracy by using the standard in the inspection room. + Perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience with manual lathe operations. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints. + Knowledge of CNC machining. + Proficiency in lathe operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with manual milling is acceptable. + 3+ years of experience in a similar role is ideal. **Why Work Here?** Join a family-owned company that values its employees. This is a 1st shift position with hours from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Butler, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00 Butler Tool, Inc.
