**Job Description**
As a Manual Pack Operator, you will be responsible for manually assembling boxes, packing final brick bags, instructions, and other items into packaging prior to shipment. This role involves standing for 12-hour shifts, working in an assembly line format, and collaborating closely with peers. You will ensure machines are in good condition, maintain a tidy work area, and perform various production line tasks.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manually assemble boxes and pack final brick bags, instructions, and other items.
+ Stand for 12-hour shifts, rotating through different stations in an assembly line format.
+ Keep machines in good condition and maintain a clean work area.
+ Perform tasks associated with the production line and ensure production reporting.
+ Meet performance measures with minimal downtime, handling boxes quickly and efficiently.
+ Ensure compliance with quality standards and report any issues or failures.
+ Contribute to the constant flow of the line to avoid unplanned downtimes.
+ Achieve standard hourly production results.
+ Report on line operations, including TPM, 5S, QAs, and Line Release Audits.
+ Maintain excellent communication with peers following company values.
+ Support changeovers, quality inspections, and machine cleaning.
+ Perform other job duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in packaging, production, or manufacturing (1-2 years preferred).
+ Ability to perform repetitive tasks on an assembly line.
+ Experience standing for 8-10 hour shifts.
+ Knowledge of quality control, quality assurance, and quality checks.
+ Experience with inventory management, loading, and warehouse operations.
+ Ability to operate production equipment and handle material.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma/GED preferred.
+ Basic knowledge of packing and material handling.
+ Flexibility to move between departments or shifts as needed.
+ Capability to lift products up to 33 lbs, perform constant grabbing/pinching, and bend/squat as required.
+ Ability to work in a performance-measured environment.
+ No unexplained large gaps in employment and a stable job tenure (1-2 years preferred).

**Work Environment**
Our facility in Colonial Heights is very clean and state-of-the-art, housing our packaging operation, warehouse, and training center. The larger facility will include more equipment and square footage. Warehouse aisles are around 12 feet wide, and climate control ensures a comfortable working environment. We provide locker rooms with lockers, a canteen/breakroom with food and drink machines, and a strict policy on cell phone use (must be kept in lockers or cars and not allowed on the production floor). The schedule follows a 3,2,2,3 type of rotation, with final pack operations only on the day shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, Virginia.

The pay range for this position is $19.15 - $26.16
