**Job Title: Polisher** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating power tools and hand tools to polish and finish metal and non-metal surfaces. You will inspect materials for imperfections, assemble and fabricate components as needed, and follow safety protocols to maintain a clean work area. Collaboration with team members to meet production goals is essential. **Responsibilities** + Operate power tools and hand tools to polish and finish metal and non-metal surfaces. + Inspect materials for imperfections or defects and make necessary adjustments. + Assemble and fabricate components as needed. + Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area. + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. **Essential Skills** + Experience with polishing, blueprint reading, sanding, deburring, and metal finishing. + Ability to read and write in English. + Familiarity with operations such as stoning, sanding, pumicing, hard wheel grinding, and wet stone. + Experience with stoning/sanding/pumicing precious metals and/or raw metal materials (plated or solid). + Knowledge of brands such as Burr-King, Durenamel, RBC, Baldor, and Zoeller. + Familiarity with equipment such as rubber fingers, diamond point dressing tools, double headed lathe, air exhaust systems, and belt sanders (100-500 grit). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with using a timecard and meeting expected rates per hour. + No known allergies to natural elements such as dirt, mud, sand, or inorganic compounds such as plastic paint/epoxy, hardeners, adhesives, sealers, or UV materials. **Why Work Here?** Employees have long tenure, and there is a long-term opportunity for contract-to-hire positions.
