Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Manual Quality Assurance Engineer. Summary: The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the quality and reliability of software through manual testing practices, with a strong focus on API testing. The Manual QA Engineer will support multiple teams working on various projects, collaborating with both manual and automation testers within each squad. This role requires proficiency with SQL, experience in API testing using Postman, and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: * Execute manual testing to ensure the functionality and stability of applications * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and project goals * Conduct thorough API testing using Postman (required) and other tools such as Swagger, RestAssured, SoapUI, or JMeter * Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data integrity and backend processes * Work closely with automation testers to ensure complete test coverage across multiple projects * Provide feedback to developers and stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved promptly * Optional: Support UI testing efforts (as needed) to enhance overall test coverage
