Manual Quality Assurance Tester
Description Job Title: Manual QA Tester Job Description: We are searching for a structured, meticulous Manual QA Tester to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting hands-on testing, documenting and reporting issues, and working closely with the team to ensure the software product meets quality standards. The QA Tester’s primary duties will include understanding user scenarios, following test procedures, ensuring functionalities work as expected and reporting defects. Responsibilities: + Understand the requirements and specifications of the project to determine testing needs + Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases + Conduct functional, usability, and compatibility tests manually + Identify, log, and track defects in the bug tracking system + Work closely with software developers to understand the details of product updates + Regress bugs, validate bug fixes, and signoff updates for release + Provide feedback to the development team regarding user interface and performance improvements + Produce clear and concise documentation related to the testing process + Participate in the testing of product updates, patches, and new releases + Take part in agile rituals and practices, like daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field + Proven experience as a QA tester or similar role in software development + Excellent knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes + Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases + Ability to document and troubleshoot errors + Detail-oriented with a strong ability to notice discrepancies or inconsistencies + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Highly analytical and comfortable dealing with complex systems + Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus.
