Champion Home Builders is a leader in off-site construction, offering customers solutions from single-family homes to large-scale commercial buildings all built in a controlled factory setting and then assembled onsite. Champion is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to join the team. The Construction Set Crew Member will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead. This crew will primarily work within a three-hour region around St Cloud, FL. The intent is to have you in your home and your own bed every night possible. \n

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:\n
The key responsibilities of this position are outlined below. Other duties may be assigned.\n\nSet (block and level) Manufactured Housing Units (HUD code homes both single and double-wide).\nStructurally fasten the units.\nComplete the roof closure and shingling.\nClose up the exterior mate wall sheathing seams to provide a weather-tight product.\nComplete interior trim out, finish work, install siding, and skirting.\nMaintain company tools and materials. Inform management of any issues that arise.\nRepresent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.\n\n

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:\n\nAbility to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs.\nAbility to stand and\/or walk for the full duration of the workday\nMust have clear vision at both close and distant ranges\nAbility to hear clearly\nMust be willing to travel, with occasional (5-15%) overnight stays\nMust be willing to work outside in all four seasons\n\n
