What You'll Work On

As a Filling Operator for Line 3, you’ll have the chance to operate all production related equipment included in the Aseptic Filling and Blow Molding process. This position involves the ability to troubleshoot on-line situations and to prioritize and complete several tasks concurrently within a given time frame and in a safe and efficient manner.

Operates the filler to assure proper filling of all product according to filling specifications, including maintaining proper fill weights, security systems, vacuums, and troubleshooting the system to maintain optimal performanceOperates cappers and monitors/corrects any jamsOperates blow molderMonitors pressure gauges, filler speeds and line conveyors.Completes product hookups between filling line and processingCompletes product blow downs/flushes as necessary to achieve timely batch changes with minimal fluid lossKeeps accurate documentation of all production and quality reports.Interprets and responds to various alarm conditions on all filling and sterilizing equipment in a safe and timely manner.Operates the sterilizer system within required parameters, completes related documentation and monitors the specifications, making adjustments as needed. Completes sterilizer rounds, sediment and chlorine checks as required by work order.Adheres to product isolation procedures, monitoring pH levels and taking water samples.Reports any abnormal equipment functions and product problems to the Supervisor.Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner, reporting accidents/incidents and adhering to all corporate/division/plant policies, procedures and guidelinesMaintains general housekeeping cleaning, sanitation and safe work area by utilizing all 5S cleaning and tools necessary to keep the area clean and clear of debris, safe, neat and organized

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.

 

Pay and Shift:

The hourly pay for this position is $24.95/hour + a 5% shift differential. This is a NIGHT SHIFT position from 6:30 pm to 7:00 am EST, and allows you to have every other weekend off.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED requiredGood written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask

 

Preferred Qualifications

Manufacturing equipment operation experienceExperience with tools and mechanical troubleshooting

The base pay for this position is $18.25 – $36.45 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
