Manufacturing Analyst
Job Description An Industrial Engineering company specializing in custom conveyor systems design, commissioning, and integration is looking for a Manufacturing Analyst to join their newly implemented and expanding ERP and production team. In this role, the Analyst will learn the shop and manufacturing processes, and split time between manufacturing and Data related responsibilities, such as managing material orders for production, and auditing Bills of Materials (BOM). They will also gather data, plan resources such as headcount and shop planning, and analyze data to support decision-making. Project-based examples include: extracting data from shop floor machines, storing it in a SQL database, and managing server data, review the paint system process from start to finish, ensuring accurate data collection and labeling, and collaborate with the VP of the division to review data. They will solve problems independently, utilizing research and inquiry skills, identify and address scheduling issues for shop employees, research and recommend solutions for networked machines, and learn and utilize new software packages. The ideal candidate does not need to have previous experience doing the above projects, but will be a self-starter with problem solving abilities, ability to research and learn processes independently with light guidance, and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Experience with Standard Operating Procedures for manufacturing processes is preferred.
