Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Manufacturing and Facilities Clerk. The position will be based at our El Paso, Texas facility.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $45,749.97 - $67,099.96 a year.

**What you’ll do:**
The Maintenance and Facilities Clerk will support the OPEX department (Manufacturing and Facilities) by managing daily activities and operations associated with maintenance services to include external contractor management and daily routine checks on safety and regulatory standards. This supports with maintaining the facility and production equipment on its best working condition, completing PM’s and minimizing downtime. The position will support operations, and capital assets (equipment, machinery, building, etc.).
• Perform daily checks on facilities systems such as PM’s schedules, service requests and OEE to assign maintenance tasks to our technicians.
• Complete all safety and regulatory documentation for contracted service providers (Non-Routine Tasks, Elevated Work permit, Hot Work permit, Contractor MESH Work Permit, etc.)
• Perform daily walkthroughs to review compliance on different projects and contracted services.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly walkthroughs for different facilities and equipment inspections.
• Complete/maintain maintenance logs and associated documentation.
• Complete spare part inventories as well as reordering with different suppliers to keep a healthy stock.
• Support daily plant operations through effective troubleshooting and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, and Control system adhering to all policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Maximize equipment reliability by effectively performing assigned work orders and PMs. Ensure complete and effective repairs. Proactively initiate work orders based on PM observations.
• Complete work on Continuous Improvement activities related to the facility as needed (5S+, TPM, Set Up Reduction, etc.)
**Qualifications:**
**Basic Qualifications:**
• High school diploma
• Minimum one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or facilities support function
• No relocation is provided for this position, only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility will be considered.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Minimum one (1) year of inventory control experience.
• Experience with contractor management
**Position Criteria:**
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based software.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and facilities concepts.
• Proficiency with verbal and written communications.
• Basic skills in reading, arithmetic and writing in English and Spanish.

**SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:**
• Demonstrated knowledge of Eaton’s internal policies and standards (MESH, EQMS, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills to resolve conflict, develop employees and facilitate corrective action while fostering an environment that supports Eaton values & philosophy.
• Ability to work in a highly unstructured and ambiguous environment.
**ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:**
• Ability to work safely and produce effectively with minimal supervision to include work at varied heights using fall protection, permits, and other safety processes and procedures as required.
• Must be a safety-conscious team player by having understanding with safety standards such as electrical safety, arc flash, and lock out/tag out (preferred knowledge of all OSHA work and safety rules).
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical data, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, blueprints, schematics, and parts breakdowns.
• Strong organizational, presentation, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format and work with all employees throughout plant.
• Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team.
• Dexterity for and ability to operate equipment, machinery, and computers (including Windows and MSOffice as well as industrial software)
• Familiarity with DC and AC power up to three phase 480 V.
