Responsibilities

Working hands-on in a shop environment as a team member that may include:

Robot OperationCarbon Fiber Parts FabricationAircraft Assembly & Painting Required High School Diploma or GED equivalentAbility to follow safe work practicesAbility to learn quicklyAbility to lift 50 poundsGood attention to detailBasic problem solving, communication, and critical thinking skillsKnowledge of basic hand toolsBasic computer knowledgeCan verbally communicate, comprehend written and verbal instructions, drawings, and documents in EnglishCapable of basic mathematical calculationsMust demonstrate eligibility to work in the U.S. - Employment sponsorship is not available Desired

Experience in any of the following skills:

Automotive TechnologyWelding or Fabrication3-D Printing, CNC Operation, or RoboticsMachinery Operation or MaintenanceAny hands-on, skilled trade or craft (i.e., woodworking, sewing, fiberglass, etc.)

Working Conditions / Environment/ Special Requirements:

Can work in a safe, professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements (OSHA, EPA, State and Federal)Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if requiredMust be able to wear a respirator and pass routine medical testingFollow all environmental health and safety practicesRead work orders, blueprints, and specifications in English

Compensation at Joby is a combination of base pay and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). The target base pay for this position is $18-$24/hr.  The compensation package offered will be determined by location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
