Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Associate to join our team. This role involves preparing media and buffer solutions, operating Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems, and assembling and operating filtration systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating general production equipment, monitoring and recording critical process parameters, and performing routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development within the pharmaceutical manufacturing space, with ground-up training provided that can lead to monetary increases and title promotions.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare media and buffer solutions.Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems.Assemble and operate filtration systems.Operate general production equipment such as pH and conductivity meters, autoclave, portable mixers, etc.Monitor and record critical process parameters.Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to maintain GMP standards.Perform sampling using aseptic techniques.Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams.Receive and distribute supplies into production areas as necessary.Train and mentor other team members.Assist in troubleshooting process problems and responding to alarms.May perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsMinimum 6+ months of experience working in a GMP environment.Previous experience or understanding of working in a cleanroom, pharmaceutical manufacturing, aseptic technique, machine operation, pH meter, autoclave, GDP, and sampling.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED with 1 year of related experience or higher with no prior experience required.Must be able to carry up to 25 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance of material handling equipment.Must be able to stand for extended periods of time over an entire 8 or 12-hour shift.Must be able to climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning.May require bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and/or squatting motions to perform certain tasks.Must be able to work in controlled environments requiring special gowning and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet, and body.No makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, or artificial fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.Must be able to work multiple shifts including weekends and overtime as required.May be required to work in confined areas and in cold, wet environments.Some clean room and cool/hot storage conditions may be required.Work Environment
The work environment includes a clean room setting where special gowning is required. Employees must gown up and down each time they enter the manufacturing area. The schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour night shift from 6:30 PM to 6:00 AM on an alternating 2-3-2 schedule. The work environment may include cold, wet conditions and occasional work in confined areas. Employees must follow all gowning requirements and wear protective clothing.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00
