Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing media and buffer solutions, operating various production equipment, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance in a GMP environment. This role requires the ability to work in controlled environments, perform physical tasks, and collaborate with team members to ensure continuous improvement and efficiency.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare media and buffer solutions.Operate Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) systems.Assemble and operate filtration systems.Operate general production equipment such as pH and conductivity meters, autoclave, portable mixers, etc.Monitor and record critical process parameters.Complete all relevant paperwork following GDP/GMP guidelines.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of production equipment to maintain GMP standards.Perform sampling using aseptic techniques.Participate on Continuous Improvement Teams.Receive and distribute supplies into production areas as necessary.Train and mentor other team members.Assist in troubleshooting process problems and responding to alarms.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsKnowledge of cGMP and SOP.High school diploma or GED plus 1 year of related experience (clean room, manufacturing, lab) or a Science diploma in higher education with no prior experience required.Experience in cleanroom, biology, or laboratory settings.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to assist technicians with housekeeping and processes.Ability to carry up to 25 lbs, lift up to 50 lbs, and push/pull up to 100 lbs with assistance.Ability to stand for extended periods over an entire 8 or 12-hour shift.Ability to climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning.Flexibility to bend, twist, reach overhead, and squat as needed.Capability to work in controlled environments with special gowning requirements.Ability to work multiple shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.Comfort working in cold, wet, and confined environments.Ability to adhere to strict gowning and protective clothing protocols.No make-up, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, or artificial fingernails may be worn in the manufacturing environment.Work Environment

The schedule follows a 2-2-3 rotating 12-hour shift pattern. Night shifts run from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The work involves operating in a controlled environment that requires special gowning and protective clothing. The environment may be cold, wet, and sometimes confined, with cleanroom and cool/hot storage conditions. The role requires physical activity, including lifting, standing, and climbing, and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $27.00
