Our client, an innovative leader in manufacturing, is looking for a Tool and Die Maker to join their team in Oxnard, CA. In this role, you will perform routine mold maintenance, evaluate and correct mold defects, and operate various manual and automated metal processing machinery with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on injection molds and communicate repair needs to the Tool Room Supervisor.Manufacture prototype molds, new injection molds, and spare components.Evaluate and correct mold defects to ensure production efficiency and quality.Operate manual and automated metal processing machinery, such as lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs, and CMM, with accuracy.Lead and direct the work of others while ensuring compliance with 5S policies.Apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; apprenticeship or formal training in tooling and die-making required.At least 5 years of experience in tooling, mold maintenance, or a related field.Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and sketches.Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.Proficiency in using measurement systems and metalworking machinery.Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills.
